Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 Review (quick version)

The Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 is a new addition to the company's line of foldable smartphones. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that can be folded in half to transform the device into a compact, pocket-sized form factor.

Design-wise, the Galaxy Flip 4 is a sleek and premium-looking device. The hinge mechanism feels sturdy and well-built, with no noticeable creasing on the screen when folded. The device is available in two colours: mystic black and mystic silver.

The display is one of the standout features of the Galaxy Flip 4. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen offers vibrant colours and deep blacks, making it ideal for watching videos and browsing photos. The resolution is also quite high, at 2636 x 1080 pixels.

The camera system is also noteworthy. The Galaxy Flip 4 features a triple-lens rear camera setup with a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. The front-facing camera is 10MP. The camera app offers a variety of shooting modes, such as Live Focus and Night mode, to help you take great photos and videos.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Flip 4 is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also supports 5G connectivity for fast internet speeds. The device runs on the latest version of Samsung's One UI, which is based on Android 11. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate.

One of the best features of the Galaxy Flip 4 is the new Flex mode, which allows you to use the top half of the screen as a viewfinder while the bottom half shows the controls and settings. This is especially useful when taking photos and videos.

The battery life of the Galaxy Flip 4 is decent, but not exceptional. With moderate use, the device should last through a full day, but heavy users may need to charge it more frequently. The device supports fast charging and wireless charging, which helps to mitigate this issue.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 is a well-designed, high-performing device that offers a unique form factor and innovative features like Flex mode. It is a great choice for those looking for a foldable smartphone with a large, high-quality display, a powerful camera system, and solid performance. However, the high cost may be a drawback for some consumers.
