Microsoft to give Outlook and Word an AI upgrade.

Hey there, partner! Looks like Microsoft is bringin' its AI game to the next level with some upgraded Office apps. Ya heard it right, they're gonna show off what they've been workin' on with Prometheus AI tech and OpenAI's language AI in the comin' weeks, maybe as soon as March. And ya won't believe this, they've even reimagined Bing so it can have conversational responses to your searches, thanks to that Prometheus model they built with OpenAI.

And get this, they've also got a new Edge with an AI copilot built-in, all powered by Prometheus. Ya can just hit the button in the top-right corner and you'll get quick access to Bing's new chat feature, it's like havin' ChatGPT right in your browser. The Verge is sayin' Microsoft wants its AI technology to be able to generate graphs and graphics for PowerPoint or Excel, and even generate text with simple prompts in its Office apps.

Well, it's no surprise that Microsoft's in a rush to launch these new AI-powered features for its products. They probably want to get as many people usin' their stuff before Google launches its ChatGPT rival.

They were originally supposed to launch the new Bing in late February, but they moved it up so they could beat Google's Bard announcement. And they're definitely gonna keep expandin' their AI-powered feature list, especially since they signed a multi-billion dollar investment in OpenAI last month.
