Yo bro, Google's bringing the gnarly waves to Maps and Search with a fresh batch of features! At their Live From Paris event, they dropped the news about some sick upgrades, like the Immersive View, EV charging resources and a "glanceable" way to use Google Maps.
These dudes aren't gonna get left behind by Microsoft's new AI-powered Bing, they're bringing out the big guns with computer vision and predictive models.
The Immersive View is like a sick Street View, but better bro! You can fly through the images and explore a place like you're really there, even before you visit. Google mashed together billions of Street View and aerial images to create a digital model of the world with three-dimensional vibes.
And get this, they're layering all sorts of helpful info on top, like the weather, traffic, and business hours, so you can plan your trip like a pro. This new feature's available for London, LA, New York, San Fran, and Tokyo, with plans to bring it to more cities.
Its only available on Android and iOS for now, but they're planning on bringing it to desktop soon.
So, you can start planning your trips, finding entrances to buildings, parking spots, and seeing how crowded places get at different times of the day with a whole new way of exploring.
This is the future bro!
